Fifty plus years ago Albert Kertesz had the opportunity to take over Lajos Wagner's Hungarian musical program on Sunday mornings. With the passing of Albert, Annie Kertesz is continuing (with assistance) the 3 hours on-air Hungarian radio program on WQRP FM 89.5. The program is the gathering place for events, birthdays, good news, announcements; social, religious, and business. The program relies entirely on its volunteers, and on the contributions of its listeners.
All listeners are always invited to call-in and send music to their loved ones for such happy occasions as birthdays, anniversaries, appreciations, or in some sad events let the Hungarian violins cry.
